Through presidential decrees, amendments were made to the additional customs duties imposed on nearly 5,000 products in 2020. With the Presidential Decree published yesterday, certain products were exempted from the additional customs duty for manufacturers using them as inputs.
Among the products exempted from the additional customs duty are other plates, sheets, films, foils, and strips made from vinyl chloride polymer (GTIP code 3920.43.10.00.00) with a thickness not exceeding 1 mm. Accordingly, manufacturers importing the relevant product will no longer be required to pay the additional customs duty.
